False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are made available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes start at NCV level two plus the minimal need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

After the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then tvet college engineering have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, becoming comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree two that is equivalent to an NQF level two.

On which type of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional schooling just isn't necessarily the only real way of getting an artisan or getting certified so if a student knows from an early age what their passions are, the NCV programme is definitely perfectly suited to that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
